It’s moving day!

What a cold and windy day for a moving day (Not us the bees!)

We are very lucky to have been given the opportunity of a piece of land very close to us at Park Farm Cottage.

We started early as it was cold enough that the bees wouldn’t be flying. Bees don’t like to go out under 8 degrees, have to say I know what they mean! We gently closed up their hive and packed it very carefully in the van. its pretty scary driving with 60,000 bees in the back of the van.

The land was a little uneven so we managed to get the blocks nice and level and in a beautifully sunny spot. I think you’ll agree the girls have got a fabulous view!

After a little while we settled them in and let them out! They soon started flying around checking out their new surroundings.

Over the next few days the flying bees will search around finding where they can get everything they need.

We‘ll update you and give you their progress over the coming months.
