Our story
Started in the garden, grown by hand
We started keeping bees in our cottage garden a few years ago, and we've loved every minute of learning to care for them since.
These days we keep a number of hives, harvesting the wonderful products they produce, most of all, lovely sweet honey with the flavour of the gardens, fields and hedgerows around Maresfield.
Alongside the honey, we collect the older wax our bees naturally replace each year, and filter it carefully until it's beautifully clean. That's the wax that becomes our beeswax wraps and candles, made from 100% beeswax, blended with jojoba oil and pine resin, then worked into 100% cotton fabric.
In the kitchen
One wrap, endless uses
Wrap a loaf of bread, cover a block of cheese, or pop one over a bowl, once you have a beeswax wrap in the kitchen, you'll find endless uses for it.
And every time you reach for one instead of cling film, you're helping rid the world of a little more single‑use plastic.
Looking after the bees
Every jar and every wrap goes back into the hives
We care deeply about honeybee conservation, it's the reason this all started, and it's still what it's really about.
